Engage the world.
How do churches make a difference in the wider world? How can we as Christians be discerning about cultural influences? And in turn have a helpful, healthy influence? The St. George’s Institute has sprung from the roots of a congregation working to help Christians engage culture more faithfully from a Christian perspective.
The Institute is …
- hosting an annual conference on church and culture (the second annual C3 Conference)
- networking with those on the frontiers of cultural engagement—in the arts, in the workplace, in homes and communities, for example, by co-sponsoring a panel on faith in the workplace (Praxis Forum).
- creating web resources on church, arts and culture
- building curricula for small groups and church school classes
